The scholarship program for high school seniors provides financial aid to students in exchange for high school grades. Most students who have achieved a satisfactory grade point average (ASPA) throughout their academic career will qualify for financial aid from the scholarship program. These scholarships offer a selection of financial aid options. Students who qualify for merit-based grants will not receive need-based financial aid.

Students who achieved academic excellence are usually eligible for four-year scholarships which have maximum awards of nearly ten thousand dollars. The scholarship program for high school scholars allows scholars to participate in hands-on learning while receiving financial need. There are many ways scholars can receive financial aid. Students who transfer to a four-year college as juniors will almost certainly be awarded a tuition scholarship. This is the case with most community colleges. Students who are in good academic standing and who are eligible for need-based financial aid will also be offered scholarships. Students must complete the FAFSA application in order to be considered for any scholarship program. The student must complete the FAFSA by April 1 of the senior year.
